[K-pop] YG Shares Details on Big Bang’s G-Dragon’s Upcoming Title Track

Fans have already been tantalized by the track list of G-Dragon’s upcoming mini album and now YG has shed some more info on it. 

YG Entertainment posted an entry on its official blog and Facebook on September 6 sharing the track list once more and detailing the tracks.

Title song Crayon comes from a mix of the words ‘crazy’ and ‘G-Dragon and “is said to represent a version of G-Dragon, who is crazed about an unspecified thing, and is expected to showcase the Big Bang member’s unique color.” 

The entry also mentioned the album’s slew of featured artists including Kim Yun A from Jaurim, Nell’s Kim Jong Wan and a member from YG’s upcoming new girl group.

To be released on September 1, Big Bang G-Dragon’s new single That XX is already gaining attention for its Rate-R label.

YG Entertainment updated its official blog on August 29 with a new poster for G-Dragon’s That XX that had a Rated R/19+ stamp included. 





Usually a song is given an R-rating after the song has been released and reviewed by a panel. 

However, in G-Dragon’s case, the new rating was applied even before the release of the song and was voluntarily done so by the agency itself. 

As a result, a lot of attention and curiosity is being placed on what kind of lyrics and story is included in G-Dragon’s That XX. 

Meanwhile, G-Dragon signaled his comeback by releasing the music video for One of a Kind on August 25. It has received more than 6.4 million views on Youtube.
